Any passenger vehicle's air conditioner is often installed in front of the radiator, earning it the "mini radiator." The Condenser is next just behind the compressor in terms of importance to an air conditioner's functioning. As mentioned above, the Condenser reduces the temperature and pressure of hot gasses formed from the refrigerant when the compressor pressurizes the refrigerant to develop cool air. Additionally, the Condenser is responsible for transferring the liquid refrigerant that has been cooled to the accumulator, also known as the receiver/dryer.
